ISABEL ALLENDE BOOK SERIES

This series of book jackets were designed for well-known Chilean author Isabel Allende's books,  My Invented Country, House of Spirits, and Paula.

All three books are heavily influenced by Allende's personal life, yet they intertwine reality with a sense of other-worldliness. The design was inspired by the magical-realism found in Allende's writing, The artwork combines photos of Allende throughout her life, overlaid with traditional Chilean weaving patterns.
